The xls files are spreadsheet files for the search statistics on each website. At the bottom left of the spreadsheet you will notice that the statistics are split up by month, as that is how Google provides them in the webmasters console. You can click on the various months to see that month's search statistics. These statistics are provided by Google's Webmaster Tools, and are directly from Google themselves.
The left column shows the search terms that users entered in which the website appeared in the search results, for that month, and the right column shows what number or position that it was, within the search results.
As you can see from the results, most of the search volumes went down during the winter months, thus affecting the volume of searches that the websites appeared in, and began picking back up in February.
Ionisis is a NEW company, with our main focus being in Information Systems Development, and so we have not had the time to build a long list of clients for our SEO service. Despite the short life span of the company, as you will see in the spreadsheets of statistics provided by Google, we have dominated front page. We have an intimate understanding of SEO, and nearly unprecedented results.
Ionisis strives to be a reputable SEO Company, and to have a renowned integrity. For this reason, we have even included a project in our references that completely failed (of course, we also give an explanation as to why). Most SEO companies show you the best results, and sweep the bad ones under the rug. We feel that you, as a potential client, have a right to know the entire work history of the SEO Company you're about to hire. Try getting THAT from another SEO Company --or any other company, for that matter.

The following sections outline some of our past projects, and give some of the details and backgrounds of such projects. Along with (mostly) each section you will have the option to download the search engine ranking statistics provided directly from Google themselves, via Google's Webmaster Tools Console. Simply click on a project's name below, to expand its details and read about it.

LinuxIntro.com is owned and operated by Ionisis. It is a public service website to educate people on the benefits of migrating from Windows to Linux systems, for both professional and personal purposes. It is similar to a wiki, meaning any approved member can contribute content. This website is running off many of Ionisis's systems, such as our Website Content Management System (WCMS) which are all inherently optimized for search engines. Ionisis understands SEO so well that we are able to develop entire systems from the ground up to automatically optimize the content as much as possible, so that the website will rank well, even if the owner knows nothing at all about SEO. As you see here (see search statistics spreadsheet), we know what we're doing ;)

InHomeHealthCareAgency.com is owned and operated by Ionisis. This website lies completely dormant as we are not yet ready to proceed with its initial purpose, yet it still gains search phrases due to its optimized content.

Ironically enough, we've been so busy that we haven't had very much time to put much effort into our own rankings! Take note that this spreadsheet DOES NOT include ANY of our subdomains, and ONLY covers the main Ionisis.com domain. For example, or rather clarification, right this minute you are on the SEO.ionisis.com SUB-domain, and we haven't bothered to gather the statistics on our subdomains, as they are all new. The main domain only covers product documentation, whereas the subdomains cover the marketing material for each product or service, and are specialized and tailored to each product or service.
David T. owns TriStateTruckAndTrailer.net, which is a new website (again). David retained us a couple of years ago to increase his site's search engine ranking. Soon after, one of his biggest competitors ('National', a BIG chain) bought out his biggest clients' contracts, which pushed David's company out of business. He got rid of the website and went into work for himself driving trucks (owner operator).
Through word of mouth, he was approached by new companies for Fleet Maintenance Services, and has recently re-opened the doors of his business. David's current website was put together by himself, to serve as temporary information. David has contacted Ionisis again to retain us in the near future to regain his footing with the search engines. Again, his current website is NOT developed by Ionisis, but by himself. When we begin work on his website, we will update this section to reflect such.
When I used your seo company a while back, my website was a success. Now that I am back in the business again, I will definitely be giving you a call when I have everything in order.

This client was not a typical SEO job. The owner of this website is already familiar with web design, and was operating on a very tight budget, trying to start a side business. As a result, he asked if we could do something more long the lines of "get them started" with the site's SEO. Though not a typical request, we obliged. We got the project restructured in a much more SEO friendly way, reshaped the content, and optimized the content based off search statistics.
Since then the owner has been experimenting with various methods, and we have lent advice to them along the way to guide them in the right direction. Also, since the owner maintains his own website, we have no access to his search statistics, so we can offer nothing to download for this project. However, despite that, the owner was more than happy to send a testimonial our way.
Overall, I have been very satisfied with your service. You seem very knowledgeable and you are not afraid to share that knowledge with me. I have very much appreciated your honesty and willingness to answer my questions, even after you had completed your work. I've never come across a company who still helped their client months after the project was already finished.

ViolentWorkOfArt.com is a sweedish band who retained Ionisis for web development, as they were in need of an interactive website that would allow visitors to download their music, communicate with them in the forums, and to be able to easily and dynamically add content to their website. They are running off many of Ionisis's systems, such as our Website Content Management System (WCMS, among others), which are all inherently optimized for search engines. Ionisis understands SEO so well that we are able to develop entire systems from the ground up to automatically optimize the content as much as possible, so that the website will rank well, even if the owner knows nothing at all about SEO. As you see here (see search statistics spreadsheet), we know what we're doing ;)
On a VERY unorthodox side note, and despite the fact that we are NOT in the music business, we also initiated, handled, and executed a contract on the band's behalf, with a major music syndication company (TouchTunes), to get this band listed on their music network, to increase their exposure. When is the last time an SEO company went THAT far above and beyond to increase YOUR exposure? This client's testimonial will always be our favorite:
Sometimes I love you, dude.... (smiley)

Mitchell Pomper is an independant isurance agent based out of Chicago IL, who offers various services, such as home insurance, car insurance, and more.
Mitchell's website was being hosted on a server with thousands of other templated and identical insurance websites. As a result of this, none of the insurance companies whose websites were on that server were to be found in google as they were all considered "duplicate content", and, as a result, were buried in the back of the book, never to be found in the search engine results pages (serps).
We took Mitchell's website and put it on one of our hosting servers. We then rebuilt his website to run on our lightweight and SEO-Friendly framework. We then performed our SEO work upon his existing content, and created some new content as well. Due to budget constraints, we did not create a new design. We then did some standard search engine marketing (SEM) for his site, which completed his project.
This project is relatively new, and stats are just now begninning to build up, so there is no stats sheet at this time.

MenopauseHotFlashesTreatment.com is a website that Ionisis performed SEO on, and also completely fabricated content in order to assist the website to rank well, as it had almost no content to begin with. Despite this website's tremendous success with rankings (see search statistics spreadsheet), this website is not doing well.
This website attempts to sell a product that many visitors have no faith in, and some of the wording that the owner insisted upon using does not help matters any. In the end we still have to do as the customer says, but we did our best to advise this owner as to what they could do to improve their conversion rate, however, our advice was not taken, and in the end, the project failed. Consequently, he blames his failure on Ionisis, therefore we cannot use this website's owner as a reference.
Ironically, despite all of this, he still periodically contacts us with miscellaneous questions about his other projects that we oblige to advise him on (without charge).

GeoRouter.ionisis.com, iims.ionisis.com, ufms.ionisis.com, and a few others still in the works are great examples of what we call “branded SEO”. What we mean by “branded SEO” is that either the term or phrase that we were targeting did not even exist yet (essentially) to the search engines, or that we wanted to give it a completely new meaning to the search engines.
Take the term “UFMS” for example, as far as the search engines knew, it stood for “Unified Financial Management System”. We wanted them to know that we have a product called the “User Forums Management System”, and that “UFMS” was its acronym. The problem is that just because one website says that “this” means “that”, it is not a strong enough indicator to the search engines to get them to listen and apply the new alternate meaning; so we came up with a way to beat it into their heads that there is a new acronym out. In a whopping 2 DAYS we were front page on Google for “iims”, “ufms”, and more.
The second example is GeoRouter, which is the name of a Brazilian radio station, and consequently, the name of one of our products. In an amazing 2 DAYS we took 1st place for this term.
This is what we call branded SEO, as we are trying to develop a new association with a term to a new meaning, or to “brand” the term to mean something new; and it is something that we are fairly good at.
There have been SEVERAL other projects that we have made it to front page with, in less than 48 hours, and some of them are even in VERY competitive fields (for example, Law Firm SEO); but we will not cover them here, in order to stay on topic.
In the interest of fairness, we will admit that the methods we used to accomplish this for those terms seem to be completely useless for one other term, being “uams” (User Accounts Management System). For some reason, the search engines simply aren't picking up the signals for that term and giving an alternate meaning to it, as they are for the others.
So, why are we mentioning this, when it doesn't help us to look “good”? Because we're honest ;). We're good, but no one is psychic, or “perfect”. Sometimes you are up against odds that just don't make any sense at all. Sometimes there are things that are being factored in by the search engines that are beyond your control, and even visibility. This is why no SEO Company should “promise” specific results.
One of the most interesting feats that we have undertaken, is the development of our own Search Engine. In order to better understand how the search engines make their decisions, we decided to start our own. It started off as more of an analysis prototype, including a spider / crawler to index pages, and search results via the front end that is accesible by the public, but which was more of a tool for us to use rather than something for the public.
The search engine is still in alpha development (the very beginning stages) and has already tought us many important variables that are factored into search algorithms. It is not meant to be a "commercial" search engine in the same way as Google or Yahoo, but it is possible that at some point (in the distant future) we will pursue that as well.
